The airlines are desperate
for travelers, and StormCon attendees are benefitting. Ticket prices on the
whole are down 30–40%, according to FareCompare.com. When I compare my own
travel with last year, I have discovered even deeper savings.
Lots and lots of bargains!
Here are some of the current offerings. These prices are for upcoming travel on
various airlines. You should make your travel arrangements now to take advantage
of these savings.
You can find a ticket from
Charlotte to Los Angeles for $209. That’s down 44% from a year ago.
From Los Angeles to
Orlando, you can get a ticket for $222. That's down 42% from a year
ago.
StormCon international
travelers will find deals and some super savings as well. From Moscow to
Washington DC, you can find tickets that are 54% off what they were last year.
From Rome to Los Angeles, those prices are down 59%. And flights from Australia
are getting cheaper, too!

has been designated the official airline for StormCon '09. Call your travel
professional or Continental Meeting Works at 800-468-7022 for reservations.

· Southwest Airlines
offers a nationwide fare sale.
· United Airlines
matches Southwest Airlines’ special.
· With JetBlue, buy
two get one free. On select routes, if you buy two roundtrips, you'll receive a
free travel certificate.
According to CNN, the best
time to shop is Tuesday after lunch. Airline sales are announced on Monday, and
airlines try to match those prices Monday evening and Tuesday morning. If you’re
looking for the cheapest day to fly to StormCon, go on a
Saturday.
Air Gorilla always has a very good selection of airfares.
It’s a good starting point for all types of travel deals, and they have airfare
price guarantees. So, in two weeks if summer travel fares fall even more, you
will still get the best rate.
