Why Should I Attend StormCon?

By: Scott Nania, StormCon Coordinator Comments

Time is quickly running out on the Early Bird Pricing for StormCon 2010. Make sure to act now before the deadline of Thursday, July 15th.

You might be thinking, "Why should I attend?" Here are three good reasons:

First, we’ve got some of the top stormwater professionals in the country delivering presentations at this event; people like Michael Bloom, Andy Reese, Glen Rink and many others. These folks will be sharing their insights and experiences on a wide range of stormwater industry topics.

Second, this is a great opportunity for you to connect with your peers. If you’re a student looking to learn or maybe connect with potential employers, make sure to bring your resume because you’ll never know who you’ll meet. If you’re a professional in the industry, bring along your business cards. It’s never a bad idea to forge relationships with other folks in your field. If you a stormwater professional looking to broaden your skills, be ready for a ton of relevant news and information.

Third, we’ll be providing a festive atmosphere, with multiple receptions, sit down lunches, and other networking opportunities in a setting that is simply one of the most beautiful we have ever had over the past nine years.

This is a “Very Important” event that will provide you with valuable insights on stormwater products, services and technologies being used today. If you’re planning to attend, make sure to encourage your colleagues and/or friends to to come too!
