StormCon is respected for being the nation’s largest conference and exhibition of stormwater-related products, services, and technologies. Anyone who has ever been to StormCon also knows there is much more: the sumptuous banquets are unlike any other, and, combined with multiple networking opportunities, make the entire event an experience to remember.
The pre-conference gets underway on Sunday with full day workshops and nationwide certification courses. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. on both Sunday and Monday.
The first opportunity to mix, mingle and meet other attendees, exhibitors and sponsors will be held in the Grand Oaks Ballroom during the Exhibitors Networking Reception, Monday evening from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. If you are in the hotel be sure to join us for this early bird reception and networking opportunity hosted by Suntree Technologies Inc.
Pick up and secure your badges at the advance registration desk anytime Monday and beat the crowd Tuesday morning. Tuesday registration opens at 7:00 a.m.
The regular conference starts Tuesday, August 3rd with presentations beginning at 8 a.m. Everyone is invited to a truly engaging Opening General Session Panel Discussion, “The Future of Stormwater” hosted by AbTech, with opening general session coffee service at 9:45 a.m. (hosted by Hydro International). Do not miss this very important discussion and kick off to StormCon, Tuesday, August 3, 9:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. located in the Cibolo Canyon Ballroom
Thanks to StormCon’s complementary luncheons and refreshment breaks on Tuesday and Wednesday, attendees will have more than information to digest. Luncheons in the Cobolo Ballroom will provide a sit-down meal and allow attendees to connect and reconnect with other professionals. There are no workshop sessions scheduled during the luncheon time slot, so attendees can fully focus on enjoying the food and networking opportunities. Luncheons are hosted by AbTech and Contech respectively.
Don't miss the Gala Reception! Bring a guest! Wives, significant others, or your colleagues are welcome to join in the festivities. Live music, great food, passed hors d’oeuvres & chef services, carving stations, and much more. Stylish attire is encouraged. StormTrap will host the Opening Gala Reception Tuesday night from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
While perusing the exhibit hall with more than 180 booths showcasing stormwater products and technologies, attendees can stop for refreshment breaks from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m., providing a pick-me-up snack and a great opportunity to meet up with colleagues. Cultec hosts Tuesday’s break and Stormwater Magazine will host Wednesday.
StormCon’s Cyber Cafés, open in the Grand Oaks Ballroom (hosted by Modular Wetlands and Bio Clean) all day during exhibit hours, provide an additional break opportunity in the busy show schedule to relax with a cup of coffee and catch up with e-mail and industry news.
After hours the JW Marriot San Antonio Hill Country Resort is sizzling with attractions, entertainment and offers seven distinct dining options. The resort features a golf course, six acres of pools, fountains, waterfalls, rivers, and an abundance of poolside lounges.
